Dear Readers,
We are getting a very impressive results from this kit on R35 GTR. Along with the excellent results,we have some responses expressing their doubts about the figure. Let me give you an explanations from our HKS engineer, Ohura Shumpei. These are his opinions about the entire setup.
There is nothing special except for the normal procedures I did to get this power.
I was instructed by HKS engineer in Japan for the entire setup.
And when I informed HKS about the power I get on the GTR ,they were not surprised as they actually dyno their GTR at 589hp in Japan.
The reason HKS named the kit 570 package is because it will surely hit 570hp at a minimum but not the max! As the package might hit 600ps ++ on some GTRs depending on engine condition.
Comment from HKS Engineer ,Ohura san:
“The stock GTR injectors can cope up with 600hp with a good A/F reading.
And for safety reason ,he advise boost down to 1.1bar instead of 1.2 bar.
And both ohura san and HKS engineers Japan agreed with a 600ps + figure on a good engine condition .”

@cloudy, blow off valve is for turbo var only.
There isnt a blow off valve for an NA car. If u need to know more about BOV, google it as i cant be bothered to explain. Yes i bet its the red R35 alrite since he loves to mod cars alot especially his Evo 8 Full JUN Tuning. Have u guys seen it? Its as sick as HELL!

the mine's tuner from japan is at miri which project the r35 at miri!!! heard is above 6xxhp but hv to wait the car to your shop for dyno or brunei's 2nd dyno machines shop !!!
Mines is no big deal lah..if i owned R35 I will opt for HKS ..they are the real big guns behind all the successful tuning cars !!It takes time to test a product and start to sell,I bet more and more upgraded parts will be releasing soon after the 570 kit..rumours that there will be a more agressive 650ps kit on its way .
where as mines..?.I wonder how much they can push with stock GTR turbos...sigh!They might end up with HKS twin turbo kit to reach their target ..wat a joke.

Cloudy: yes there is a fake BOV for na cars,it only gave the same whooshing sound but not the same function as the real BOV.

Argghhh!!! Shud've waited for the Amuse Power house Turbo kit!!! It's gonna be over 600ps! Oh well.. the owner will get better turbo kit next time anyway.. I just know :)

wow! I just saw the dyno graph 600+hp.. cool! well done Mr. Ohura! I think out of all the HKS 570kit installed SHH currently has the highest hp output,great tuning!, nice!.
HIS EVO 8 ISNT FULL JUN TUNING... its already remap by OHURA!! i think his GTR is the best that stock can deliver... there isnt any one else but HIM for having such financial to do this kind of JOB... having 600 hp on road is better than having ferrari or lambo..

only proves again the dyno is not set actually. the same kit in japan only getting 568ps by HKS seen in option.
how can brunei lower fuel rate, hotter temp can have higher hp?

not like Ohura remap the ecu. he cant. he just set the boost controller.
can bet HKS japan can confirm the power shown on dyno is NOT positive.
we gonna do some test to confirm the dyno is not set right when a 2nd 4wd dyno is set and ready.

hey guys do u read about different dyno produce different reading.you can say that dyno is accurate or not accurate just because it shows higher or lower reading on your car ..from what i heard .SHH did called HKS to confirm about the result.The guys from HKS agreed that some of the GTRs did produced 600ps + on different dyno ..and another important thing is the condition of the car .The Red GTR is brand new unit ,it has the best engine condition and do you know about the engine condition of the others..I bet you dont.
you can bring 2 cars of the same make and same stock engine and run on a dyno and yet get differnt reading .why?Simple,engine condition !
Any 'before' modification dyno graph would be better to see the comparison between the stock gtr and after installing the package. Just a suggestion.

its the dyno setting... i am not saying shh dyno is wrong with its figure... but that figure is quite reasonable... afterall... read more on dyno 1st... and they can even produce u lower HP data... if they would like to.
As for OHURA... his tuning so far din made any complain... nice curve he can produce... the owner happy tuner happy and everyone happy and those who are unhappy get 1 GTR and fix the kit somewhere else to challenge it...

wow a 600+ HP output..now thats the way how to tune ur car..
better than the top racing output...i guess this GTR got something special under its sleeves.. as u all know each GTR R35 are build with different setting and setups..not all GTR R35 can produce 600+ hp at an instance..

whic STOCK evo ure referring to?? u must mean d yellow evo with 425 hp after re-flashed ecu.
READ THIS! do u call an evo with aftermarket exhaust, downpipe, manifold, intake, boost controller, fuel reg, 255lph fuel pump & some other more mods, STOCK?! d evo stil use stock internals but with all those mods we all believe he will not get STOCK HP output!
ure not even there wen d evo was tuning so dont act like u kno everything in car mods world.. that evo was pushing 1.75bar boost to get that 425hp figure! many evos/sti in america, uk, only use ecu map re-flash & get these hp output with just minor mods. go join MORE forums & read SOME MORE..

note: evo8 MR and evo 9 is not the same. Not even same engine.. evo9 is MIVEC turbo. u hav so much experience in mods u compare the 2 different engines? they r similar but not same and parts installed obviously not d same & even if the engines r same, u tink u will get 2 EXACTLY SAME figures??

Well, after the 570 kit conversion , did the middle plastic grill at the rear , between the 2 exhaust tail pipe get melted ? it happened on mine :P , i am not in brunei though. As for our friends who are arguing in f-con vs reflash... it dosen't matter you have a f-con or a reflash my friends. the purpose of the ecu is to control the engine and make power, well there u go, u have something that is controlling your engine and a car that is making power now ..:) CHILL!
