HKS FCON IS SETUP ON CPV35 SKYLINE COUPE

The F CON IS is the eagerly awaited model change of the Sub Computer F -CON SZ which connects to Factory CPU with a coupler ON connection to compensate the fuel and ignition timing.

The new Fuctions were added to create the F CON IS. The New model inherits the basic fuctions such as fuel and igntion timing control of th e F-CON SZ, which has proven results and an established reputation in these areas.

In addition, a comunication data acquisition fuction for factory CPU diagnosis was also added to correct deviations from the present compensation values caused by A/F fedback control when intake and exhaust system parts are replaced or boost up is done. In additon the new version was planed to handle Toyota`s direct injection engines as well.

HKS F-CON IS Harness kits are also available for a large number of vehicles.

APEXI AFC NEO SETUP FOR MAZDA 6


A'PEXi introduces the first digital fuel computer that combines fuel computer functions with a VTEC engagement controller.

The V-AFC features a user-definable, eight-point, adjustable fuel curve that can be set in 500 RPM increments. The range of fuel adjustment is +/- 50% at each of the user-defined setting points.

The Fuel Adjustment function considers wide/narrow throttle and low/high camshaft settings, from which four different fuel maps are created (wide-low, wide-high, narrow-low, narrow-high).

The integrated VTEC Controller adjusts the point at which the engine switches from the Lo to Hi cam during acceleration, as well as when the engine switches from the Hi to Lo cam during deceleration.

HKS LIGHT ACTION LA CLUTCH TWIN PLATE FOR 1JZ


"LA CLUTCH TWIN", which is twin plate clutch with the concept of LA CLUTCH, has been released for 1JZ.
Maximum torque 73kgf-m, horsepower 700ps. With big capacity as metal clutches, easy clutch operation as stock. High tital balance clucth system.

Lightweight cover and diaphram spring with optimized characteristic. Large capacity clutch system usually requires heavy pedal pressure. Although it has stiff pedal feeling, it is incredibly easy and stress less operation from street to circuit driving. Cover is made of forged aluminium which is stiff and low inertia.

8.5 inch "MG COMPOSITE DISC" with damper inorder to increase capacity, new 8.5 inch disc was developed. Damper of the disc eliminates gear boise during operation and protects transmission from stock torque. Because of the stable friction coefficient, clutch operation is easy and prevents uncomfortable vibration during clutch engagement. Independent type enables lightweight and stiff structure with smooth shift feeling and precise operation of disengagement.

"Pivot Ring" for advanced controllability.
Pivot Ring that is low stiffness spring on pressure plate increases clutch engagement zone. It eases clutch engagement operation and it is as easy as stock clutch.

"Lightweight Flywheel" for quick response.
Weight of flywheel is properly reduced vehicle type for better response and smooth driving as to less weight cause driving difficulty. Round drive boss enables optimized inertia performance. Total weight of clutch kit is also lighter than stock.

Remarks
Acceptable Range is the range of engine torque that the clutch can be used for except intentional overheating of clutch.

Acceptable range by condition is the range that the clutch might slide by rough operation, kick back from tire and distortion of parts etc.

Over the limitation is the range that the clutch might slide during clutch engagement at high rpm.

Mechanical limitation is the point that sliding starts when accelerated during driving.

APEXI POWER FC D JETRO TUNING ON S15

The HKS GD Clutch Max is the latest evolution of the HKS multi-plate clutch series. The GD Clutch Max features the same multi-plate design and lightweight flywheel of the GD Clutch Pro, but also features a sprung hub (on most applications) and special engagement springs (patent pending). The sprung hub absorbs engine torque which helps increase the life of the transmission, and aids in decreasing gear noise. The engagement springs are placed between two pressure plates and the center plate. --- They force the clutch plates to engage one at a time. Doing so makes it easier to slip the clutch, improving street drivability and clutch control.

The HKS multi-plate performance clutch kits are vehicle specific Pull-Type racing clutch applications designed for street-car use. The multiple plate design allows increased friction area and direct power transfer, thus offering greater horsepower and torque holding capacity and light clutch pedal pressure for easier clutch pedal management. The use of rivet-less clutch disks allow for better durability, increased friction area and direct torque transfer, while maintaining a friction material that is both wear and heat resistant. Each multi-plate clutch kit comes with a lightweight chrome-moly flywheel optimizes durability and high performance. The use of very durable and lightweight chrome-moly material with a steel tooth ring makes it possible to construct a thinner flywheel without sacrificing integrity. The concept behind a lightweight flywheel stems from the desire to enhance low-rpm throttle response on high RPM horsepower applications. With the lightened flywheel in the HKS Twin and Triple Plate Clutch kits, a quick rise in RPM can be attained from light throttle input for easier RPM matching when downshifting and to counter low torque at low RPM levels. Though the main focus of the HKS multi-plate clutch kits is on ultimate power transfer and engine response, a stable idle and smooth driveability is still maintained. Each HKS Twin and Triple Plate Clutch kit is a complete vehicle specific assembly that allows for a bolt-on installation. Some applications have an available slave cylinder rod that increases travel for enhanced pedal modulation.

The Plasma Direct is the ignition coil with a high power amplifier built in to it.
The Plasma Directs produce 4 times more spark energy than stock coils and also generate an ultra fast multi spark discharge of 10 sparks up to highest RPM.
The spark amperage is increased 100%, allowing the spark to reach many more molecules and therefore accelerate the ignition and combustion process. This is extremely important in forced induction applications but also improves the performance of normally aspirated engines.

The Plasma Direct will increase horsepower and torque throughout the entire rpm range. This upgrade will also reduce fuel consumption. Even the engines with a legendary smoothness will be further refined with the Plasma Direct upgrade. Our Plasma Directs are OBD II compliant and C.A.R.B. approved.

HKS SSQV BOV
The HKS Super Sequential Blowoff Valve (SSQV) is a dual stage pull type relief valve. Unlike other blow off valves that are push type, the SSQV will not leak under high boost conditions nor under vacuum at idle. Being of a pull type valve structure, the SSQV can not physically leak under any level of boost because boost pressure also keeps the valve closed against its seat. The SSQV is actuated by pressure alterations only, not by the rate of pressure or vacuum in the line, which ensures a quick valve response and complete closure during idle. On typical blow-off valve designs, a large valve is utilized in order to accommodate high boost / high horsepower applications. However, these large valves tend to react slowly and require high activation pressure to open, therefore are not able to activate and prevent compressor surge at light-load conditions. On the other hand, smaller, fast reacting valves do not discharge the airflow capacity required for high horsepower applications and tend to creep open and leak as the boost pressure overpowers the spring on these push type valves. For maximum performance, the HKS SSQV incorporates both a small primary valve for ultra quick activation, along with a larger secondary valve for additional discharge capacity. The SSQV is engineered to initially open the small primary valve at light throttle and load conditions, then sequentially opens the secondary valve for additional relief capacity under high boost and load conditions. The SSQV is constructed of polished billet aluminum, which ensures long-term durability and visual appeal. The mounting base utilizes a circular mounting flange that provides exception flow and complete secure mounting via a C-clip snap ring and O-ring gasket. The triple-fin discharge port design produces a powerful and unique aggressive blowoff sound along with added visual distinction. The HKS SSQV is available as a universal unit for custom applications and also by vehicle specific kits for bolt-on applications. Vehicle specific HKS SSQV kits come complete with all needed mounting flanges, brackets, and miscellaneous hardware for a bolt-on installation. For Universal SSQV applications, weld-on flanges are available in steel and aluminum for custom installation.

HKS SPF RELOADED KIT ON HONDA JAZZ




 
The unique patented design of the Super Power Reloaded Flow combats the tendency of airflow to move towards surface areas that generate turbulence and reduce airflow capacity. This is a typical weakness of box type designs.
 
The HKS design; with its vacuum inducing inner lip, draws air in from the filters outer edge and directs air away from inlet throat surfaces, as a result, turbulence is minimised, producing smoother and more even airflow with increased velocity and optimises air/fuel atomisation.
